MINNESOTA Statutes § 514.011 Subdivision 2 mandates that a Subcontractor have up to forty-five (45) days on a private Commercial project under 5,000 square feet in size to deliver by certified mail a MINNESOTA Subcontractor’s Pre-Lien Notice to the Owner and other legal parties after first furnishing equipment, materials, labor or services. It is suggested that if the project size is greater than 5,000 square feet a Pre-Lien Notice still be done, but it is optional. |
