Prime Contractor Notice Of Lien Rights

WISCONSIN Statutes § 779.02(2)(a) mandate that a copy of the Prime Contractor Notice Of Lien Rights must be included with any written contract between an Owner and Prime Contractor for the supplying or procurement of materials or labor for the improvement of a property. Subcontractor Identification Notice

WISCONSIN Statutes § 779.02(2)(b) mandate that two copies of the Subcontractor Identification Notice must be delivered (Certified Mail highly recommended) by the Subcontractor to the Owner and the Prime/General Contractor within sixty (60) days from the first day that materials were delivered or labor began at a property. Waiver Of Construction Lien

WISCONSIN Statutes § 779.05 mandate that a Waiver Of Construction Lien should be used for waving future lien rights for (1) an accurate description for the labor and materials provided during a defined time period or (2) all work done to the date of the Waiver or (3) All past and future work – a full waiver of all lien rights.
