Notice Of Right To A Lien
OREGON Revised Statutes § 87.023 mandates on Residential improvements a Subcontractor who does not a have a direct contract with the Owner must deliver a Notice Of Right To A Lien no later than eight (8) days from the first day that equipment, materials, labor or materials were furnished for a project. The lender must also be delivered a Notice of Right To A Lien by a Subcontractor . The Notice should be delivered in person or by Certified Mail to the Owner of the property along with any other legal parties related to the improvement of the property (Customer, Lender, General Contractor).

Issue a Conditional Waiver And Release Upon Final Payment to the Owner and any other legal parties requesting a copy after a promise is made for full and final payment for labor or materials provided for a project. Claim Of Construction Lien
OREGON Revised Statutes § 87.039 mandates that you must file a Claim Of Construction Lien with the County Recorders Office in the County where the project occurred not later than seventy-five (75) days after the completion of providing labor, rental equipment, or materials, or seventy-five (75) days after completion of construction, whichever comes first. The recorded Notice should be delivered in person or by Certified Mail to the Owner of the property along with any other legal parties related to the improvement of the property (Customer, Lender, General Contractor).

Satisfaction Of Construction Lien
You must file a Satisfaction Of Construction Lien with the County Recorders Office in the County where the project occurred after payment clears for a recorded Claim Of Construction Lien. A recorded copy should be delivered in person or by Certified Mail to the Owner of the property along with any other legal parties related to the improvement of the property (Customer, Lender, General Contractor).
