Software and customer assets are acquired from SIERRA PHOENIX


TRADITION SOFTWARE announced that it reached an agreement to purchase the software and customer assets of SIERRA PHOENIX, the leading software provider of Mechanic’s Lien software to Credit and Accounting professionals in the US construction industry. This includes all support for PreLien2Lien’s 2,900 customers, and updates to PreLien2Lien as needed. Financial details of the private transaction will not be released.

Bob Stone, President of SIERRA PHOENIX, will become a part-time Programming Consultant for TRADITION SOFTWARE. “I highly value the knowledge Bob can offer our company with his experience developing and supporting PreLien2Lien. He will be a valued resource for our company as we grow,” said Craig R. Altman, President and Founder of TRADITION SOFTWARE.

According to Bob Stone, the Founder and President of SIERRA PHOENIX, “Craig offers my past and current customers a diverse background. They will benefit from his solid business experience in sales, marketing and software technical support. He also has experience with the Mechanic’s Lien process, as he was formerly a key senior executive at a major competitor that offered a Mechanic’s Lien software solution. I am quite confident customers will enjoy working with Craig and the team of people that make up Tradition Software.”

Current PreLien2Lien customer subscriptions will be fully honored by TRADITION SOFTWARE. Customer Service, Sales and Technical Support will be offered Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM PST at the new Headquarters for TRADITION SOFTWARE in Citrus Heights, California. Additionally, each customer with a current contract will immediately receive credit to redeem two free Property Owner Reports between April 1st and the end of 2005.
