Updated link for DYMO LabelWriter 450 / 450 Turbo driver for PreLien2Lien

PreLien2Lien (www.pl2l.com) continues to allow users the benefit of using the DYMO Label line of USB and ethernet print server label printers for printing mailing labels for PreLien2Lien.

In recent years DYMO has continued to have difficulties printing to web browsers like the market leading Google Chrome.

The most recent download from the DYMO support site of their DYMO Connect for Desktop v1.0 for the DYMO LabelWriter 450/450 Turbo does not work with Google Chrome. If this driver is installed, removed the software and download an older version of the software v.8.7.1 from our website at the following link: https://traditionsoftware.com/downloads/DLS8Setup.8.7.1.exe

Recording a CONNECTICUT Release of Lien in Norwalk, CT

Our TRADITION LIEN SERVICE division recently recorded a CONNECTICUT Release of Lien for a previously recorded construction lien that a demolition company used TRADITION LIEN SERVICE to record against a residence within the Town of Norwalk, CT. According to Wikipedia, in 1853, the first ever train disaster in the United States happened over the Norwalk River.

CONNECTICUT construction liens are recorded in the specific Town, rather than by the County, that the construction related improvement is located at. The Norwalk Town Clerk’s Office requires the entire legal property description from the deed “Schedule A” to be included with the lien. A copy can only be purchased by visiting the Norwalk Town Clerk’s Office at 125 East Avenue, Room 102, Norwalk, CT 06851-5125.

Out of state business checks are accepted for payment. Fees totaled $69.00 for a two page construction lien (Page 1 lien + Schedule A + $4.00 for official copies to returned with self addressed stamped envelope). The lien was recorded by mail, with same day for recording once it was received. The mailing back of the recorded lien was one week after recording.

The Yuba County Recorder’s Office fees to record are as follows: $89 for 1st page (includes $75 SB2: Building Homes and Jobs Act fee). $3 each additional page. (document size 8-1/2″ x 11″). Make checks payable to YUBA COUNTY RECORDER and they will accept out-of-state business checks.
